Classic Hamptons style

This show stopper kitchen is the perfect example of the classic Hamptons style kitchen.  The space lends itself to the style with the pictured ceiling, exposed beams, VJ grooved ceilings, wood-look floors & lots of light!  The white cabinetry has a hint of black so it goes perfectly with the signature freestanding SMEG gas stove.  The walls are painted in Grey Days by Berger and the cabinetry is 2 pac matte finish in Resene Eighth Black White to match all of the joinery doors in the home which are also painted in a matte black finish. The client selected these stunning tear-drop shaped tiles for her splashback and the feature pendant lights compliment this look perfectly.  The large butler pantry with dresser style drawer units provide so much additional storage so that the open shelves can show off the display food storage jars inviting you to cook! The benchtops in Silestone Lagoon, have a soft more subtle vein to ensure they don't detract from the rest of the detailing in the kitchen and blends beautifully with the rest of the palette.

Casuarina Beach life

Nestled in Casuarina, this lovely home is classic and timeless with a little bit of the Hamptons.  The kitchen really is the hub of this home and the layout and design reflects just that.  The carefully chosen finishes, handles and positioning of all of the items were detailed for this client who loves to be in her kitchen and now has a place for everything.  The bi-fold windows and outdoor servery provide a fluid open-plan living space connecting the outside deck with the kitchen and living area.  The client styled the home, the delicate pieces of coral and carefully considered homewares matches the sanctuary feel of the home.

Matte black is the new Black

Walking distance to the stunning New Brighton Beach in Northern NSW. This modern kitchen is a main focal point in this new colonial home.  Matte black 2pac cabinetry with aluminium channel & aluminium wrap around kicks are complimented by the recycled hardwood benchtops the client salvaged from their building materials whilst building their home. The cooktop location works perfectly in the space with the raked ceilings and sea breezes that come through the louvered windows on the east of the home.

Modern Hamptons Style

Right on the canals in Mermaid Beach, this beautiful home needed a beautiful kitchen. The layout was the most important thing to the client in the design brief as they wanted to incorporate a breakfast bar without having an island. The custom made American Oak table with the continuous stone benchtops (Caesarstone Snow) did just that and ties in wonderfully with the vinyl herringbone parquetry. The handles were also custom-made so that they blended into the shaker style cabinets in satin polyurethane.

Working all Angles

As Featured in "Kitchens Bedrooms Bathrooms" Magazine.

Attention to detail was crucial in this kitchen because in an all white setting, every little detail was going to stand out especially with the aluminium framed white glass fronts. The L-shape island enhances the minimal flowing look that the client craved, with this desire facilitated an island of enormous proportions pitched on one level.  The sloping integrated sinks keep in line with the angular elements including the two Dornbracht taps. The Corian island bench shows no joins and allows the guests to sit and watch while food is prepared in front of them on the Miele Teppanyaki hot plate or the Gaggenau domino hobs.  A regular island canopy would have spoiled the look of this streamline minimal kitchen, so a downdraft extractor was used that disappears into the island at the touch of a button. With the impressive list of appliances this kitchen also boasts a barbecue grill, Gaggenau steam oven and two integrated fridges. It is simply a wonderful place to cook.

It boasts two sink areas one overlooking the garden and one prep sink so both of the owners could work in the kitchen easily.
